The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently joined a long list of global celebrities to celebrate Kris Jenner’s milestone 70th birthday in Beverly Hills. The James Bond–themed event, hosted at the home of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez, brought together some of the most recognizable figures from entertainment, business, and media.
Meghan and Harry’s Stylish Appearance at the Celebration
According to People and TMZ, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the November 5, 2025, event dressed in elegant evening attire that fit the black-tie theme. Meghan wore a sophisticated black long-sleeved gown paired with peep-toe heels, drop earrings, and a velvet clutch. Prince Harry complemented her look with a classic tuxedo and bow tie, complete with a red poppy pin worn in observance of Remembrance Day.
Eyewitnesses at the event told Page Six that the couple arrived hand in hand and appeared relaxed and cheerful throughout the night. The Duke and Duchess were seen greeting several guests and engaging in conversations with other high-profile attendees.
A Star-Filled Guest List
Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday was one of the most exclusive events of the year. Attendees included Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian Barker, alongside major entertainment and business figures such as Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, and Bill Gates. Other guests reportedly included Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Tina Knowles, according to TMZ and social media photos posted by guests after the event.
The soirée’s luxurious setting featured a red and black color theme inspired by the James Bond franchise, complete with live entertainment and fine dining. Several celebrities shared images from the event on Instagram, showcasing Kris Jenner in a vintage Givenchy gown surrounded by friends and family.
The Deleted Photos That Sparked Online Discussion
Shortly after the celebration, photos of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at the event briefly appeared on social media before being deleted. Some images reportedly showed Meghan alongside Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, as shared in early Instagram posts by the Kardashian-Jenner family. However, those posts were later edited or removed, which led to curiosity among royal watchers and social media users.
As of mid-November 2025, neither the Duke and Duchess of Sussex nor representatives of the Kardashian-Jenner family have publicly commented on why the photos were deleted. It’s not unusual for high-profile figures to adjust their posts for privacy or publicity reasons, and there has been no official statement suggesting any dispute or misunderstanding.
Meghan’s Friendly Connection with Kris Jenner
While their appearance at the event drew attention, Meghan’s connection with the Kardashian-Jenner family is not new. Earlier in 2025, People magazine reported that Meghan had sent Kris Jenner products from her lifestyle brand, As Ever, including a curated gift box that featured a bottle of rosé. Jenner shared her appreciation on Instagram Stories, thanking Meghan and tagging the brand’s official account.
The exchange was widely interpreted as a friendly gesture, reflecting Meghan’s ongoing interest in wellness and lifestyle entrepreneurship.
Police Respond to Noise Complaints at the Venue
Despite the evening’s glamour, the event did attract attention from local authorities due to noise levels. TMZ reported that Beverly Hills Police Department officers visited Bezos and Sánchez’s property following several noise complaints from nearby residents.
Video footage published by TMZ showed officers speaking with security personnel outside the property gates. According to police sources quoted by the outlet, the interaction was cordial, and officers reminded event organizers to lower the music volume. Later in the evening, authorities reportedly returned to the venue after discovering temporary decorative hedges that had been placed along the street without a city permit. Those barriers were removed under police supervision.
No citations or arrests were issued, and the event continued without further interruption. The Beverly Hills Police Department has not reported any additional incidents connected to the gathering.
Social Media Reactions
Clips of the police presence outside the venue circulated widely on social media platforms, prompting a mix of lighthearted and critical responses. Many users joked about the large police turnout for a noise complaint, while others commented on the scale and star power of the event.
On Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), comments ranged from amusement — noting the “movie-like” atmosphere — to admiration for the impressive guest list. Others questioned the need for such high volume at a residential event, emphasizing how even celebrity gatherings must follow local noise ordinances.
Despite the online chatter, the overall tone of public reaction was positive, with many users praising Jenner’s milestone celebration and the rare sighting of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex among Hollywood’s elite.
Meghan and Harry’s Recent Public Engagements
The Beverly Hills appearance came shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan attended the World Mental Health Day Festival on October 9, 2025, in New York City. The couple participated in the event on behalf of Project Healthy Minds, an organization focused on expanding access to mental health resources and reducing stigma.
During the New York event, both Meghan and Harry spoke about the importance of digital well-being and protecting children online — a topic that has become a central focus of their advocacy work. Meghan has also continued developing her As Ever lifestyle brand, which promotes mindful living and sustainable luxury.
The Duke and Duchess currently reside in Montecito, California, where they balance public engagements, charity work, and family life with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Kris Jenner’s milestone birthday marked a significant moment in her storied career as a media personality and business executive. As the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family, she has managed and produced numerous successful reality and lifestyle ventures over the past two decades, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Kardashians on Hulu.
Her influence extends beyond entertainment, with Forbes recognizing her as one of the most successful “momagers” in the world. Jenner has also been credited with helping transform her children’s personal brands into global enterprises spanning fashion, beauty, and technology.

A Night of Glamour, Conversation, and Star Power
While much of the online conversation has focused on the deleted photos and police visit, sources present at the event described it as a night of laughter, music, and connection among some of the world’s most prominent personalities. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s attendance highlighted their continued integration into the wider network of U.S.-based public figures.
Whether mingling with entertainers, entrepreneurs, or media leaders, the couple’s presence demonstrated their ongoing engagement with both philanthropic and cultural circles in the United States.
